SCOURING BOTH FOR CASHMERE  FIBRE OR WOOL FIBRE

PROCESS: SCOURING is a process of removing grease and suint and other impurities with hot water, soda ash and detergent. It is a chemical process carried out in a series of bowls where the wool is washed thoroughly.

The impurities present in wool are:

- Natural impurities oil, fats, secreted by sebaceous glands of animal skin (wool fat)

- Acquired impurities- sand, dust, and vegetable matter.

MACHINES:

BALE BLENDING MACHINE

Bales are brought from the warehouse and are placed at back of the machine according to mixing decided. Here the lumps of wool are fed manually from bale, to the milling machine / opening machine. Raw material used in the process is greasy wool and has a lot of impurities, which have to be removed before further treatment.

The raw material for wool is passed through the hopper opener, which opens the fleeces of wool; through hopper the material is passed through another hopper feeder, which has inclined lattice at angle of 75-80 degree. From the hopper feeder, material is directly fed to scouring.

SCOURING MACHINE consists of six tanks and drying chambers. Each tank consists of two compartments.

The wool floats while the dirt sinks down. The impurities removed from main tank are collected in the lower compartment

There are two forks for pushing the material forward; main and auxiliary forks. There are pairs of squeezing rollers at the end of every tank. At each tank, squeeze rolls to remove grease, dirt and water squeeze the wool. The first tank contains the mixture of soda ash and water in the ratio of 1:10 while the second and the third tank contain mixture of detergent and water

with M: L ratio of 1:15. The material is then rinsed in the last 2 tanks with plain hot water. Then the material is passed through drying chambers, where steam is passed through coils. Drying temperature is usually maintained at 70C . 110C. After drying, to avoid static electricity generation and harshness of the material, antistatic agent is sprayed on the material through spray nozzle and the material is stored in carding bin.

Bowl Tank will be made of 304 Grade S.S. Sheet.

• Provided withfalse bottom made of perforated S.S. Sheet over which loose wool will be placed.

• Swinging fork arrangement comprising of rows of Fingers mounted on each tank with eccentric mechanism

• S.S. harrow mechanism fitted above each bowl to feed the loose wool.

• Squeezing head mounted on sturdy M.S. frame structure, with pneumatic pressure And with to roll fitted 1 S.S. Roll and

second is Segmented rubber roll

• Complete with pneumatic cylinders,lubricator regulatoretc.

• One no. side setting SS tanksize1220mm length x 610 mm width make SS 304

• Each bowl provided with counter flowfrom tank to tank.

DRYING SECTION

We have Conveyor Drier which we make in two sections with inbetween possibility to turn the stock upside down

• Drier of modular construction with each chamber of 3m length fitted with 2 nos. circulating 5 HP fan motor assembly and 2 nos. oil radiators.

• Chambers insulated from allsides

• Exhaustduct fitted on each chamber

• Conveyor belt perforated type with gearbox

This machine has been designed for dehairing of  FIne fibres such Lamm,Cashmere,

Our cashmere dehairing line is of unique design to separate the guard heavy coarse fibers from the fine Fibre (12 to 15 micron).

The main characterstics of our dehairing line GER 308 are:

1 - High production due to higher width of machine

2 - Dehairing done using a series of Cylinders and carding Operation

3 - Slower running high circumference of cylinders gives gentle treatment at thes ame time giving high production. 

4 - Our unique design to use the entrance of fibre with airflow to make heavy guard fibers to drop and finer wool to proceed on the main cylinders.

5 - Main cylinders with workers and strippers made of our own wire setting and design.

6 - Gentle treatment to eliminate coarse guard hair and bring to to international standards of 0.1% to 0.2%

7 - Hopper feeder with weighing scale for exact working of fiber quantity in the machine in order to control the flow and quantity

8 - Complete elimination of scurf and any other impurities with use of different types of clothings and undergrids.

9 - High productivity so good for all cashmere fiber producers . Our machine has good productiivity there by results in lower operation cost and higher economic results. Good for smaller lot production also
